The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed in regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly SRD functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The company position produced for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
